Project description
We worked in the territory of Pilar, Buenos Aires, where school
education is a demand and a great need for children living in vulnerable neighborhoods and communities.
After a process of investigation, we saw that the main problem in the
territory was that the school support centers that oer classes in the
vulnerable sectors of Pilar lack their own infrastructure to teach classes, making use of borrowed places that are not in conditions for teaching classes, and accommodating themselves to facilities that do not give them the dignity that education deserves.
So we designed transportable modules in which they could make their educational activities.
Challenges
To articulate three different actors in a systemic territory and bring a positive outcome in a reality that has complex complications
Learnings
That contexts are always changing, and as designers we should adapt quickly to new demands in order to make positive impacts
